Board of Trustees

 

Vince Barry

Vince has a strong background in organisational management and governance across the health sector, and for the past 10 years he has led Pegasus Health (Charitable) Limited, as their CEO. He joined the Christchurch Early Intervention Trust as a Board member in late 2018, and also serves on the Boards of Homecare Mediccal and the Canterbury Community Care Trust. Vince is also a memeber of the Institute of Directors, New Zealand Institute of Management (MNZIM), and is an Associate Fellow of the Australian College Health Services Executives.

Carol Bellette

Carol is a finance professional with governance experience in both the not-for-profit and commercial sector. Her current role is General Manager Finance & Commercial (CFO) at Christchurch City Council. Carol has been associated with the Christchurch Early Intervention Trust since 2006 as both a parent and a Trust Board member.

Graeme H Daniel (Chair)

Graeme has recently retired having held a number of principal positions in special education over a thirty year period and was a member of regional and national advisories.  He also worked for the ERO for several years. Graeme is currently an education consultant/advocate and advises in the area of Learning Support and leadership.

Andrew Hall

Andrew is a Senior Business Analyst with the information services Group of the Canterbury District Health Board. Previously he was the Software Manager at the electronics manufacturer Dynamic Controls and prior to that he was the CEO of New Zealand Spinal Trust. During his time at the Spinal trust, his son Anton was attending the Champion Centre and because Andrew’s workplace was nearby, he was frequently able to participate in Anton’s learning sessions there and gain first hand understanding of the great work done by the Champion Centre Team. Andrew is now on the Board of NZ Spinal Trust as well as a consumer representative on the Ministry of Health’s National Ethics Advisory Committee.

David Lang

David is a partner in the law firm of Saunders & Co, working principally in the fields of commercial and property law. He is on one of the Standards Committees of the New Zealand Law Society, and is the honorary solicitor for a number of Charitable Trusts. David was a member of the Board of Trustees of Kirkwood Intermediate School for 6 years, and is presently on the Board of the Nurse Maude Association.
